The Subversion Repository#

The KOMA-Script code is currently hosted in a public Subversion repository on SourceForge. A switch to Git is in the works. As part of this process, a move to Codeberg is also being considered.

The ”KOMA-Script Documentation Project“#

The KOMA-Script Documentation Project was conceived as a way to spread the burden of documentation and support across multiple contributors and to provide a central hub for those seeking help. To some extent and for a time, this was successful. However, the administrative burden became too great, primarily due to misuse of the site. Today, there is very little information left there. The rest has been moved to the Wiki or here. At some point, the pages here may eventually be moved back there.

General Information#

What’s the deal with the minimal working example (MWE)?

There is an entire page dedicated to the topic of minimal working examples. The relevant LaTeX forums also often provide detailed information on how to create a minimal example. For example, on TeX.SX, there is a detailed explanation of what even a beginner should keep in mind when creating a minimal working example. Despite the effort required of the user, it’s important to remember that this not only significantly improves the chances of receiving effective help, but minimal examples also prevent unnecessary discussions and frustration.
